‘Teen Wolf’ Howls Again as Feature Film for Paramount +



Start barking at the moon–Teens Wolf is back.

The popular MTV series is reimagined as a film by creator Jeff Davis under a deal he signed with MTV Entertainment Studios, according to JoBlo.com. The movie – which will air on Paramount + next year at a date yet to be determined – is teased by the short clip on this page.

Davis, who will write the screenplay and act as executive producer for the film, is already in talks with the original cast of the TV series to reprise their roles.

The new movie, as explained, testifies to a “terrifying evil in the town of Beacon Hills.” The wolves howl again, calling for the return of the Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and all other types of shapeshifters.

Only a werewolf like Scott McCall, “who is no longer a teenager but still an Alpha, can both muster new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight against what might be the most powerful foe. and the deadliest they have ever faced “.

In related news, Davis also adapts the Wolf Pack Edo Van Belkom novels in an all-new Paramount + series for 2022.

MTV Teens Wolf The series, adapted by Davis from the 1985 film of the same name, ran from 2011 to 2017, winning three Saturn Awards for best TV series aimed at young people. The show, starring Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden and Shelley Hennig, follows a young werewolf who defends his California town from supernatural creatures.
