One of the biggest announcements this week was that The Witcher Season 3 had been given the green light even before The Witcher Season 2 aired. Netflix has renewed it for another season, which is huge news.
Netflix has announced that a second Witcher anime feature is on the way. The animated series is in development. In addition, there will also be a “kids and family†series set in the world of The Witcher.
The series is inspired by famous novels and short stories written previously by a well-known author named Andrzej Sapkowski. Following the success of the first season, Netflix quickly established The Witcher as a vast fantasy universe with a rich history.
The animated prequel, The wolf’s nightmare, told the story of Geralt’s professor at a time before witers were hated by mankind. We also have other plans in this universe before Vesemir makes his live-action debut in Season 2.
Netflix hasn’t announced a date for Season 3 of The Witcher, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information comes to light.
